IAMNE / AMEN

Membership

IAMNE members are currently within the Continent of America. The International Association membership is open to peoples of all continents, all vocations and all states in life. Membership is initiated through ecclesial permission of the local hierarchy. The membership is spiritual and is open to diocesan priests, clerics and religious of societies of apostolic life, consecrated persons, and single or married laity - men and women along with their families.

Membership in the International Association of the Missionaries of the New Evangelization is offered to those individuals who feel called to join in a spiritual network after completing the faith formation program. This program is offered by the International Association and is based upon the outline for a plan for living the new evangelization as given to the Church by Blessed Pope John Paul II. Participants of this program form "Communio Groups" which are lead by one or two Communio Group leaders who have gone through formation for this service. After completing the period of formation the option for entering into the International Association is presented. Members are entered into the International Association with their signing of a FIAT pledge card which signifies their spiritual membership. The cards are witnessed by the local ordinary or designated ecclesial representative such as the parish pastor. All names of the new members are then formally submitted to the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of the New Evangelization.
