Works

The primary work of the International Association of the Missionaries of the New Evangelization is both spiritual and practical:

Spiritually, members are called to live the encounter with the Jesus Christ as the Way to Conversion, Communion, and Solidarity with a vision of moving into the world according to the missionary mandate of Jesus Christ. The sharing of a spiritual formation program with others brings participants into a deeper communion with their local Church as they grow in their understanding of what the universal Church means when we speak of living our faith with renewed vigor as mature Christians in unity with one another in this period of new evangelization.

Practically, the members of the International Association of the Missionaries of the New Evangelization are engaged in spiritual and corporal Works of Mercy. These more active realities are developed and accomplished in obedience to and approval with the local Church where members live. In addition, members of the International Association of the Missionaries of the New Evangelization are exhorted to live as missionaries who actively engage in various ministries and apostolates which take them beyond their ecclesial community. Taking practical steps to help remove those challenges which people face today that may keep them from having their own encounter with the living Jesus Christ, members are encouraged to explore and engage in new apostolic works and real missionary endeavors. Areas of service will especially take into consideration the needs of the culture and region where members live or where members are called to serve.
